Aug 19, 2022 @ 9:23

The Mabalacat City government has begun training freelancers in the city under the first virtual assistant workshop program held at the Mabalacat City College.

The MCG–Management Information System Office in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology and specialized training organization XCEL HUB recently conducted a free basic virtual assistant training program for the freelance community.

Some 50 freelancers participated in the workshop on data management and analytics led by XCEL Hub representative Roxanne Lineses which aims to provide additional knowledge on best practices and improve their skills.

Basic navigation of virtual assistance tools and resumé writing were also included in the training program to give a holistic approach and prepare the participants in pursuing jobs online.

The city government seeks to elevate professional development of the freelance community in the city and help expand their options for online job opportunities.

The schedule of the next batch of the virtual assistant training program will be announced via Mabalacat City News.
